Measurements of the lamination thickness of motor cores

The performance of laminated motor cores varies depending on the number of laminated layers. Measuring the thickness in an in-line manner prior to fixing the motor core in place provides a reliable check that the prescribed number of layers have been used, which prevents the release of defective parts.
